BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police Investigators have arrested 21-year-old Israel Rubio for his role in the shooting death of Louie Arturo Hernandez, 19.

On Tuesday, January 8, it was determined that Hernandez had sustained major injuries during a shooting in East Bakersfield. Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rubio was booked for murder, gang participation and conspiracy.
