TEHACHAPI, Calif. — The city of Tehachapi will partner with Houchin Community Blood Bank for a blood and platelet drive this week.

On Tuesday, Houchin Blood Bank will bring a number of buses to ensure social distancing at the blood drive. The event will be in the west park parking lot of Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Cistrict at 490 West D Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donors can also receive free COVID-19 testing from their blood donation.
