A strong ridge centered over Texas will start to move westward Friday! This will bring further increasing temperatures into the region by next weekend! We will see triple digit heat for a majority of the week.

High Temperatures next weekend could reach 102-105 degrees in the San Joaquin Valley. And highs in the desert could reach 108 degrees. We will continue to monitor this heat.

Temperatures will remain slightly above average all week. Dry weather will prevail over the next several days. Air quality has shifted into the unhealthy for sensitive groups range, with an AQI of 105.
