The Mission at Kern County continuing cooling center operations amid triple-digit temperatures

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Mission at Kern County will not stop providing relief to the citizens for Kern, especially during these rising temperatures. The center said it will continue to operate as a cooling center starting at 1 pm each day.

With temperatures above 100 degrees expected this week, the center said it will be open and stocked with plenty of water available throughout campus.

The Mission at Kern County is located 821 E 21st Street in Downtown Bakersfield.
