BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Warming temperatures are on the way, and what better way to enjoy warm weather than with some ice cream right in your own yard?
Three Bullies Ice Cream is traditionally an ice cream truck and has had to adjust the way they operate. In an effort to create social distancing between customers they are offering home deliveries. Three Bullies will send their menu to customers so they can choose their favorite ice cream ahead of time. Customers who opt for contactless delivery will have ice cream delivered to their doorstep. Once it's dropped off they will be notified.
Or individuals from the same household can come one at at time to the truck to get their ice cream. They are currently using a pole that has a wooden box fixed at the end to hand the ice cream to customers. Between each home visit the box is sanitized. They also accept payments through Venmo to avoid handling cash.
