(UPDATE: September 20, 2018 11:11 a.m.) Four suspects have been detained for a store robber that lead to three schools being placed on lockdown.

(UPDATE: September 20, 2018 10:45 a.m.) The lockdowns for Munsey Elementary School, Curran Middle School and West High School have been lifted.

Three schools are on lockdown as BPD searches for suspects possibly involved in a robbery in the area.

West High School, Curran Middle School and Munsey Elementary School were put on lockdown starting at 8:50 a.m. According to BPD, the robbery occurred in the area of Belle Terrace Road and Stine Road in Southwest Bakersfield.
