The Kern River Ranger District will be distributing seed packets and bare root trees to victims of the Erskine Fire.
Forest Service employees will be on hand to offer one-year-old Jeffrey and Gray pine and oak trees, along with seed packets containing Desert Willow grasses, native wildflower mixes or assorted sage brush free of cost.

The donations will occur on October 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at James Station in Southlake.
Planting procedure assistance will be offered by Kern River Ranger District employees on site.
