Two teens arrested in connection to threat made to Sequoia Middle School

Bakersfield Police have made two arrests in connection to a threat made to Sequoia Middle School this week.

On Thursday, police received reports of threats made on social media. Extra police were on campus as a safety precaution.

A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested on Friday. The threat was determined to be a hoax.

Both were taken to Kern County Juvenile Hall and booked for making criminal threats, conspiracy, and creating a false emergency.
