The Delano Police Department said two 17-year-olds were arrested Tuesday morning in a stolen car. After a traffic stop just after 7 a.m., the four people in the car tried to run away. Two were stopped. The other two are outstanding. 

The four are facing charges related to vehicle theft, participation in a street gang, conspiracy to commit a felony, evading arrest, receiving stolen property and obstructing a police officer. No weapons were found in the car. 

There are currently no descriptions on the two outstanding people.
