Through next Wednesday, Sept. 27, Vallarta Supermarkets will be holding a fundraiser for victims of natural disasters in Mexico and Puerto Rico. 

The company posted on social media saying it would match dollar-for-dollar up to the first $25,000 that were donated. 

In a Facebook post, Vallarta stated, "We Thank All Our Communities For Your Support, Our Prayers And Best Wishes Are With The Families In Mexico And Puerto Rico. Together We Make A Positive Impact."

The fundraiser will run through Sept. 27. According to the store's website, there are seven Vallarta Supermarket locations in Kern County.
