A video shared on Facebook, was captured on October 27, 2017 inside a classroom showing a substitute teacher at Centennial High School during third period yelling at a freshman student.

The video starts sometime after the alleged confrontation and the teacher is standing in front of a student raising his voice just seconds after that student was allegedly punched in the face by another classmate.

The student's mother, who didn't want to be identified said the dean of the school called her on Friday -- letting her know her daughter was punched in the face by another student and that her daughter hit the student back.

But the mother said the school did not mention what followed after that altercation.

The mother said it wasn't until she picked her daughter up from school that she saw this video.

23ABC reached out to the Kern High School District who says they are aware of the incident

Lisa Krch, Public Information & Communications Manager for The Kern High School District
said that the substitute teacher is no longer subbing for the Kern High School District.
