BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A free, virtual, small business workshop seminar is being held Saturday, hosted by the Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber said that the workshop will work on, among other things, educating small businesses about the importance of legal documents. According to the Chamber, organizers will be paying for a business owner's city license, home occupation permit, fictitious filing, weeks of publication advertising, a state seller's permit, and the workshop will also feature instructions on opening a business bank account, and balancing a monthly ledger.

The session will be hosted by CSUB Professor Jeremy Woods virtually over zoom, and will be starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
