KERN COUNTY, Calif. — The Kern River can be a very dangerous place to cool down. With strong undercurrents overpowering even the strongest swimmers.
County officials sent out a warning on social media today warning people that the Kern River is raging right now, with waters moving at high speeds and at extremely high levels.
