BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Municipal Band, also called the Beale Park Band, will perform a special Fourth of July concert this year and you can watch it right here on 23ABC.
The concert will be broadcast on July 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Bakersfield Municipal Band is made up primarily of local Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra musicians and with the support of the City of Bakersfield, has a long history of performing live concerts each Sunday evening during the month of June at the Beale Park Amphitheater. While many look forward to the festive live-music atmosphere in the park each year, the musicians have found a way to bring the music into the homes of an even wider audience during COVID-19 restrictions.
Social-distancing measures were carefully put into place in order for 37 musicians to perform and record this special Fourth of July concert at Mechanics Bank Theater.
The concert will broadcast over the air and also over all our media platforms: Facebook, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and all 23ABC’s streaming devices.
