BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The woman who was killed by a passing vehicle on the westbound Hwy 58 and northbound Hwy 99 interchange yesterday has been identified.
72-year-old Maria Guadalupe Garcia of Bakersfield was struck by a passing vehicle after multi-vehicle accident. According to CHP, Garcia died at the scene.
CHP says a postmortem examination will be performed to confirm cause and manner of death.
