A woman's body has been found in a drainage sump in South Bakersfield.
According to KCSO, the unidentified woman was found in a drainage sump in the 2100 block of Mahoney Drive in South Bakersfield on October 12. KCSO is currently working to identify the Jane Doe.
A postmortem exam was completed. A cause and manner of death have not been concluded pending toxicology and anthropology analysis.
