BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — One local women is making a difference in her community buy hand making masks and crosses.

Elizabeth Frausto has made over 300 masks for friends, family and first repsonders. Frausto said she has also shipped her masks to the East Coast to first repsonders in need of them.

But that's not all she's been making. When her church had to close their doors due to COVID-19 she wondered how she could bring her community together. So, she began making crosses for her community to display in their yards.

Frausto is not asking for compensation for the masks or crosses but donations are accepted. If you would like to contact Fruasto for a mask or to make a donation email her at Lilyqt68@yahoo.com or message her on Facebook.
