BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you are looking to help honor veterans, Wreaths Across America needs your help. The non-profit is now asking people to sponsor wreaths to hang up at the Bakersfield National Cemetery.

So far only 1,376 wreaths have been sponsored.

The organization says every wreath makes a difference when it comes to honoring veterans.

This year because of the pandemic, there won't be an in-person ceremony, but the group will hold a virtual ceremony on its Facebook page. That's happening at 9 a.m. on December 19.
