BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A local family is makin' it by staying creative as they produced a short film called 'Story Giver' while in quarantine.

Kevin Turner, a local teacher and filmmaker, shared that his daughter approached him with the idea of making a film to pass the time and the family created it and posted it on Facebook last Sunday.

The film depicts the importance of sharing the gift of reading and the video was aimed to shout out to teachers. You can find more of Turner's work on Facebook on the Logic Films page.
