Tehachapi native serving in Africa sends shoutouts to family back home

TEHACHAPI, Calif. — A Tehachapi native serving in the Navy at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti is sending message to his family from across seas.

Forward-deployed Navy Cmdr. Seth Liebman offered a message to his kids in Tehachapi in honor of April’s Month of the Military Child. Since 1986, April has been recognized as the Month of the Military Child and is a time where service members show their appreciation for military children by celebrating their service and constant resilience.

Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to en sure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
