TOMS PLACE, Calif. — A 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck near the Mammoth Lakes area on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was epicentered in Toms Place, California, an unincorporated community in Mono County, California. It rattled the area at 10:36 a.m.
