BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Senator Shannon Grove is inviting the community to take part in a virtual town hall this Friday to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on local communities.

The town hall is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and those interested in taking part should RSVP by Thursday at 1 p.m.

The call is a chance for residents, families, students and small businesses to receive an update on the coronavirus and ask community, business and health leaders questions.

On the call will be experts from the Small Business Association, the Director of the Kern County Department of Public Health, the Director of the Tulare County Health and Human Services, the Kern County Superintendent of Schools, adn the Director of Community Development and Church Engagement for CityServe.
