BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Garces Memorial High School athlete Alexsia Drulias has been awarded the 2020 Mayor's Trophy for her career as a student-athlete.
Drulias joined a short list of standout scholar-athletes in Kern County history.
A recent graduate of Garces, she was presented with the 2019-20 Mayor’s Trophy by Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh during a socially-distanced ceremony.
Drulias becomes the ninth Garces student to win the Mayor’s Trophy in the 45th year of existence. The former Ram will be attending UCLA in the fall.
