Senior pitcher Amber Mills was working out of jams all afternoon for CSUB as New Mexico State left 15 runners on base. After two quick outs in the 7th, CSUB catcher Jo Larrios came to the plate and worked the count full. Then Larrios hit one just over the outfield fence in left to give the Runners the 1-0 lead. It was her first career home run.
Senior Sydney Raeber was the all-tournament MVP, and Jo Larrios and Amber Mills took home all-tournament team honors.
