LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. (KERO) — Highway 178 through the Kern River Canyon will be closed overnight for construction work starting Sunday, according to Caltrans.

Caltrans said the highway will be closed from Sunday through June 22 between the hours of 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

No construction will take place on the nights of June 18 and 19.
