BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — High temperatures will remain above seasonal values this afternoon and Wednesday afternoon.

Maximum temperatures Thursday afternoon will be seven to nine degrees cooler than Wednesday afternoon. Strong, gusty winds are possible in the Kern County desert Thursday. A warming trend is expected Friday and Saturday.

Dry weather will persist for the next several days.
