Valley Freeze Warnings extended
Posted
and last updated

Seeing subtle changes in our weather patterns in the past 24 hours. Expect those cool conditions to continue during the evening hours and early morning throughout Kern County. The National Weather Service extended a freeze warning for much of the San Joaquin Valley, where temperatures are expected to fall to below freezing in the early hours of the morning. This will occur from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. through Wednesday.

Although we will see cool mornings and nights, expect mild afternoons in the 60's for the remainder of the week! Temperatures will gradually climb into the mid 60's by mid-week. We can expect dry conditions throughout Central California for the next several days.

While we can expect to see clear skies on Tuesday, air quality will remain unhealthy for the sensitive groups, with an AQI of 124. However, we will continue to see good air quality in the Greater Frazier Park area on Tuesday.
