A storm system continues to work it's way through the area, bringing a 45% chance of rain late Sunday night. A weak ridge associated with the system will also bring in periods of overnight and morning dense fog the next several days. Another system will impact the area on Thursday, bringing another chance of rain, but this remains low.

Low clouds are moving into the Kern County Mountains, sparking a concern for reduced visibility through Monday morning. A Wind Advisory has been issued for this area until 4 p.m. on Monday. We can expect a few inches of snowfall above 6,500 feet.

As for the air quality in Kern County, it will remain in the moderate range on Monday, with an AQI of 55.

Expect cool conditions for the week ahead, mainly in the 50's.
