Kern County is once again going through a heatwave, with triple digit temperatures dominating the majority of the week.
Bakersfield saw a high today of 104º on Monday, with 100 degree temperatures continuing into Thursday.
that's because a heat advisory was issued for places like Bakersfield, Delano, Wasco, and Taft at 5 am Monday morning extending to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
In addition, an extreme heat warning was also issued for the desert areas also continuing to 11 p.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday, Bakersfield should see a high of 100º with temperatures dipping into the 90's into the weekend. However, that won't last long as Monday is expected to see a high of 102º.
