KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Well above average temperatures will continue through early next week. Daily record high temperatures are likely in the valley on Friday and Saturday.

While dense fog is unlikely Thursday morning, some shallow patches are possible.

Further warming will occur with possible record high temperatures over the weekend.

A little cooling is expected with a lower chance of record temperatures on Monday going into Tuesday.
