Kristin Vartan joined 23ABC in August 2020, right around her birthday! She was born and raised in Central Valley but took a brief hiatus to Los Angeles for college. She’s a proud Pepperdine Wave and USC Trojan, having gotten her B.A. and M.A. in journalism from the universities, respectively.

Before coming to 23ABC, Vartan interned at ABC7 in Los Angeles, Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, and E! News. She loves stories and is excited to be back in her native Central Valley to tell yours.

When not at work, Kristin runs her fashion blog, likes to sing at the top of her lungs (a strong diaphragm is good for reporting too!), and exploring new things with friends and family.
