At first, it was hard to like the Rose family of “Schitt’s Creek.” The filthy rich family loses their fortune and are forced to live in a town that they bought as a joke.

But since that first episode aired on Canadian television in 2015, the characters crept into the hearts of an ever-growing audience.

Now at the top of its game after six seasons, “Schitt’s Creek” is coming to a close, its last episode airing on Pop TV on Tuesday.

After five years on TV, its popularity exploded when it became widely available on Netflix in 2017, and it received its first Emmy nominations last year.

Yet co-creator Dan Levy decided it was time for it to come to an end, just as everything was truly coming up roses for “Schitt's Creek.”

The final episode airs on Pop TV at 5 p.m.

Following the final episode, you can watch an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the final season, including never-before-seen footage of table reads, auditions and celebrity interviews at 5:30 p.m.
