Chance to receive ballot electronically available to all voters, ends Oct. 27

KERN COUNTY, Calif. — Oct. 27 is the last day voters who have not received their mail ballot can request one. For voters who may be concerned that a mail ballot may not be delivered before the Nov. 3 election, the Remote Accessible Vote By Mail system is now available to all voters.

An application to use the RAVBM system can be found online. The RAVBM voter will then receive a ballot electronically. After Oct. 27, mail ballots can only be requested in person at the election office or a satellite office.

For voters who haven't registered to vote, conditional voter registration is available at the election office, satellite office, and at any poll site on Election Day.

Satellite Election Offices are open from noon to 6 p.m. on the following dates at these library branches:
Oct. 27 Kern River Valley
Oct. 28 Rosamond
Oct. 29 Delano
Oct. 30 Ridgecrest

Election Office hours are as follows:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday Mon-Fri
