Election results are slowly coming in for a tight race in Kern County. David Valadao lead over T.J. Cox has shrunk from just over 2,000 votes to just over 1,700.

This race is a rematch from 2018 where Valadao lost his seat to Cox.

The race this year is narrow again with neither party speaking out about the race until official results are in. As of November 18th, Valadao has 82,331 votes (50.6%) and Cox has 80,535 (49.4%).

And around the county, other races are still waiting for final results as elections officials continue to count ballots in Kern.
