In statewide elections news, David Valadao's lead over 21st Congressional District Congressman T.J. Cox continues to drop.

According to the California Secretary of State's elections page, Valadao is now leading with 50.8-percent of the vote to Cox's 49.2-percent. A difference of 2,368 votes.

Part of the 21st Congressional District lies in Kings County where the elections department is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 exposure.

The results will not be finalized until at least November 21st.
