KERN COUNTY, Calif. — It's been more than a week since the general election, but the count continues in Kern County, with thousands of ballots to go.

Kern County elections officials are saying a large number of votes have been processed, but they say there are still more than 123,000 ballots uncounted.

It's unclear when the counting process will wrap up.
