This year there have been a number of gang-related incidents in the city of Delano, including a shooting that took the lives of two girls. Looking to spark a discussion, the Delano Police Department is teaming with 23ABC's Jessica Harrington as it works to break the cycle of gang violence.

Harrington will host the podcast "Breaking the Cycle of Gang Violence," an eight-week series set to launch Monday. In the first episode, a discussion will be had with pastor Mike Salazar, a former gang member who will discuss how he got into gangs and how he got out.
