La Costa Mariscos has been a staple in Bakersfield for 25 years. Known for their Mexican seafood dishes, La Costa brings traditional favorites from their beach-town roots of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The success of La Costa continues with their second location opening in February/March of 2018 at the old Elephant Bar. But don't worry, the menu won't be changing.

Expect the same menu, decor, and some of the same faces. General Manager Alex does say that you may be surprised by some exclusive new items, including the Fiesta a la Mesa! This is the special At The Table item you can order when the new locations opens.

This dish includes tequila shrimp, multi-colored veggies, and rice all lit on fire! It really is a part at the table. 

Along with this shrimp dish, you will find many other seafood options to choose from. Garlic shrimp, fish sliders, baja tacos and much more! Don't worry if you don't like seafood there are steak, chicken, and veggie favorites as well.

Until the new location opens, head to the current restaurant at the ice house located at 3401 Chester Ave. Bakersfield, CA.

Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 am - 9 pm. Friday and Saturday 11 am- 10 pm
