A Bakersfield man told police that he killed his wife during an argument last year, but he plead not guilty in court on Tuesday for her murder.

Gonzalo Garibay is facing first degree murder charges in the death of his wife, Rosa Garibay, in July 2016.

Rosa Garibay, 41, was reported missing by her employer after she didn't show up for work for a few days. After an investigation, her husband, Gonzalo Garibay, admitted to killing his wife on July 16.
