BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Wednesday, Bakersfield Police announced the arrest of a 20-year-old man for the murder of Sara Bustamante. Officials said Keontay Shoemake was arrested at his home and was taken into custody without incident.

Last month, officials identified 38-year-old Bustamante as the body found near Tommy's Liquor Store on Chester Avenue. She was also the same woman who was mistakenly pronounced dead by the coroner back in 2014.
