BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Scot Kimble, the former Chief of Police for the McFarland Police Department, was sworn in as the new Chief of Police for the Arvin Police Department Tuesday night.
According to a press release issued by the City of Arvin, Chief Kimble has nearly 30 years of law enforcement, serving five of those years as a police chief. Chief Kimble is replacing Chief Jerry Breckinridge , who accepted the position of City Manager for the City of Arvin.
The City of Arvin says this decision comes after a 5-month search.
