The sentencing of Damacio Diaz, the former Bakersfield police officer who faces three federal counts, has been continued to October 3rd in Fresno.
The sentencing, originally scheduled for September 26th, stems from Diaz's plea deal for possession of meth with the intent to sell, bribery and filing a false tax return.
Diaz's early life as a runner for the McFarland High School cross country team was documented in the Disney movie McFarland, USA.
