Starbucks stabbing suspect charged with 5 felonies, 1 misdemeanor

The man accused of attacking a woman inside of a Starbucks has been charged. 

31-year-old Robert Rivas has been charged with five felonies and one misdemeanor, including two felony counts of attempted murder and one felony count of burglary.

According to BPD, Rivas is accused of attacking a woman and a Good Samaritan on Sunday at the Starbucks on Stockdale Highway near California Avenue. 

He is expected to be arraigned on September 11 at 3 p.m.
