Suspect fired multiple shots at vehicle on La Colina Drive, one victim remains in critical condition

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect and vehicle wanted in connection to an attempt murder investigation.

On September 4th, 2016, at about 5:15 pm, a suspect driving a possible 2006 silver Honda Accord fired multiple gunshots into a vehicle that was occupied by five victims, striking two of the occupants.

One occupant, a 15-year-old boy, was struck in the head and remains in critical condition.

The shooting occurred in the 200 block of La Colina Drive in northeast Bakersfield. The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
