President Trump to visit California this week, stop by Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in California this week where he will make a number of stops including right here in Bakersfield.

On Tuesday, the president is set to arrive in Los Angeles where he will receive in update on preparations for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in that city, according to the White House. The next day he will travel to Bakersfield where he will join Congressman and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to discuss water solutions among the farming community.

After his visit in Bakersfield, President Trump will head to Phoenix for a campaign rally before leaving for Las Vegas on Thursday to meet with former prisoners and then to Colorado for another rally.
This will be the president's fifth trip to the Golden State.
