Brandon is the Chief Meteorologist at 23ABC

Brandon Michaels joined the 23ABC Weather Team in June of 2020 and became Chief Meteorologist in April of 2022.

Brandon is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin (and is naturally a huge Packer fan) and graduated from the University of Wisconsin.

Before coming to sunny Bakersfield Brandon spent four years covering everything from tornadoes to blizzards in Duluth, Minnesota and Great Falls, Montana.

He's happy to live in Bakersfield and is excited to continue to explore all the hidden gems across Kern County and the state of California.

In his spare time, he likes to cook, try new restaurants, watch and play sports, and spend time with his girlfriend and their cats.
